Mae tîm pêl-droed wedi bodoli yng Nghaernarfon ers 1876 pan ffurfiwyd Caernarfon Athletic. Ffurfiwyd Caernarfon Ironopolis ym 1895, dwy flynedd wedi i Caernarfon Athletic ddod i ben. Mae'n debyg mai hwn yw'r tîm Ironopolis a gyrhaeddodd rowndiau cynderfynol Cwpan Cymru ym 1900 (byddai'r tîm yn cyrraedd y rowndiau cynderfynol eto ym 1901). Yn y llun gwelir: John H.
