This is the Mark IV Male tank "Julian", serial number 4005. I think the location is North Parade Square, Aberystwyth, which it visited on 13th July 1918. The purpose of the visit was to help sell war bonds - the amount raised was £679,138. After the war this tank was presented to the town of Duns, in Scotland.

Thank you for the valuable extra information - speaking from Aberystwyth, that is North Parade. Do you know whether the amount raised from other visits, or solely from Aberystwyth? Is the tank still in Duns?

No, the tank certainly no longer exists. I presume it was scrapped (as most presentation tanks were) though when I don't know.
