Tua diwedd 1918 fe ddanfonodd capel Zoar, Pontmorlais, Merthyr Tydfil, lythyr a rhodd o £1 i bob un o'r aeloadau a oedd yn gwasanaethu yn y Lluoedd Arfog. Ysgrifennodd J Prosser Davies y llythyr hwn i ddiolch i'r capel ar 5 Rhagfyr 1918.

Yes, he was a doctor in the RAMC, he started as a lieutenant and became a captain. He was also a temporary acting major right at the end of the war. After the war he was a GP in Ystrad Mynach. He died in 1950. He was attached to the 95th Royal Field Artillery I think. He is buried in Ystrad Mynach church.
