Description

Houses and school in Ewart Street. These houses were built for the families who came to work at Mold Railway Junction in Saltney. At first the street was simply known as, 'the street near the Railway Station'. Then when the Prime Minister, William Ewart Gladstone, died in 1898 it was re-named Ewart Street in his honour.
