Description
Edwin Cross sent a large number of photographs to his sister Muriel during the First World War, showing scenes he witnessed while serving in India with the Machine Gun Corps. Here are pictures of the deserted city and palace at Amber, India. The inscription on the back reads "Amer [sic.], Jaipur, India 5/10/19"
