Description

This building was the first purpose-built Chapel in Cwmystwyth. It was built about 1805 and has now been renovated and virtually rebuilt.

I originally uploaded this image and enterred the description, but in fact this is not the first purpose built chapel in the village. I have since done further research and have discovered that the house now known as 'Afallon' - which is further up the lane - was the original chapel. A short article about this will be published soon.
