Description

Photograph of Almanack, published in 1877. On this view of Aberavon, St Mary’s Church is easily identified. In the distance is Swansea Bay with numerous small vessels shown. The area, now occupied by Sandfields and the Sandfields Estate, comprised marsh and sand dunes and is undeveloped. The lithograph was first published in 1875.
