Description

A lady tells how 'you didn't need to go out of Clydach to shop' in the 1950s. A local man, born and bred, tells of shops in the village, local pronunciations, and Mrs Russel's 'vicious' pekinese dog at the Post office. A poem remembering the shops of Clydach is recited against a backdrop of images of shops long gone and how the buildings look now.
