Tuesday night Feb 20 at Welsh Presbyterian church in Oakland, the Rev. T. C. Davies performed the marriage of Miss Anna Vaughn and Morgan J. Jones. The bride is well-known as a singer and has been one of the foremost sopranos in the Welsh choirs. She is presently one of the soprano as the First Presbyterian Church, one of the wealthiest churches in the city. The groom is from Jackson County, Ohio and is fond of music. When he was in Ada College in Ohio, he was a member of a choir, He has lived in this oity for several years and is following his profession of civil engineer. He is aprominent member of Oakland. They will live in Oakland atthe corner of Wallace and Terrace. [poem follows] --Ben Davies, the famous Welsh tenor, will sing with the Pittsburg[h] Orchestra the same week as the Eisteddfod is held. -One of the well-known Welshmen of Chicago and one of the Ivorites of that clty, R. W. Roberts, spent this week on a business tip in the Foggy City. This is his first visit to this city.
