The Rev. D. Derwenydd Morgan of Homestead Congregational church had an accident on Wednesday. He was standing beside the track at a crossing when a train came from the other direction. Fortunately only one bone was broken. He is the author of a novel, "The Welsh Doctor" which has been highly praised. David J. George of South Side will be a music teacher in the Cartyle schools to begin in Sepember. Datdd is one of the brightest Welshmen in the town, and his friends are glad of his appointnent to this honorable job. He is a zealous supporter of the Eisteddfu in this area. Miss Sadie E. Rorrick and Wiliam T. Gwyer, both of South Side were married in bride's home on South Ninth SL with the Rev. _Vincent Jones officiating. Mrs. J. Abel Jones of Wood's Run is recovering from illness.
