Description
Amulet in a box, with a typed note: 'Hyoid Bone of Sheep carried as a charm by sailors of the North Sea. 1916. ("Thor's Hammer")'. Acquired by the Museum in 1918 from Edward Lovett, a folklorist and collector from Croydon.
