Description
In addition to his coach building business at Southgate, Aberystwyth, Evan James Thomas was also a blacksmith. Apart from repairing agricultural machinery and equipment he shod horses from farms within an extensive radius of his smallholding at Southgate. This photograph shows Evan Thomas at his anvil.
