Description

Liquor control regulations issued to public houses and hotels in Cardiff under the auspices of the Central Control Board. Printed in black ink on green paper: 'REGULATIONS MADE BY THE CENTRAL CONTROL BOARD, UNDER THE DEFENCE OF THE REALM ACT (LIQUOR CONTROL)'. The Board was a government organisation established in 1915 to oversee drinking practices in Britain during the war, including the strength of drinks served in bars.
