Description

This impressive late Victorian shop building was built on the site of the Waverley Hotel.
To many local people it is still known as "Top Fowlers" - "Bottom Fowlers" was at the lower end of Crane Street, and together they allowed local residents to purchase just about anything they would ever need!!
