Description

Aerial view of the Victorian town of Colwyn Bay. The original settlement was in the now called Old Colwyn, but with the arrival of the railway, the Victorians started building their summer residences and eventually a new town expanded. Towards the centre right we see the oval track of Eirias Park and beyond, the Victoria Pier (what's left of it). Beyond it and round the bend, we see the fairly modern breakwater at Rhos-on-Sea. Image tsaken 2005/6.
