Description

Aerial view of the South Stack (in Welsh its called Ynys Lawd) lighthouse with its zig-zag flights of steps from the car park at the top of the footpath across the cliff tops and down to the footbridge across to the lighthouse island. The cliffs to the right of the stepsare home to thousands of nesting seabirds and at times, there is such a cacophany of sound. Glance over to the peninsula of rock above it and you will see the white walls of the North Stack Signal Station towards the tip.
