Description

One of two red chairs in the parlour at Goetre Isaf are from the investiture of Prince Charles in 1969. Guests were able to buy their chairs at the cost of £12. These have the original Welsh wool covers andacks embossed with the Prince of Wales feathers motif in gold leaf. 2,600 of these chairs were manufactured by workers at the Remploy factory in Bridgend to a design by Lord Snowdon.
