Description

The main part of the image is occupied by Saron Chapel (built 1852, demolished 1990), its graveyard and the adjacent terrace of 5 cottages only 2 of which survive. Note the young girl in period dress (early 1900's?) in the left foreground and, slightly above and to the right of her position, a standing stone marking a boundary of the mineral rights of the Hills Plymouth Co.
