Grave in memory of Jane Williams in area A at St John's church, Ysbyty Cynfyn (A55). See plan for area A for the grave's location in the graveyard.
Inscription A55: ER COFFADWRIAETH/ AM/ JANE WILLIAMS./ Merch JOHN ac ANNE.S.WILLIAMS./ Brynllwyd./ Gerrlau Mynach./ yr hon a fu farw/ Ionawr 18fed 1874./ YN 27 MLWYDD/ OED./ Ni raid i blant Seion ddim afni/ Mynd adre dan ganu tua'u gwlad:/ Eu ffordd sydd yn rhydd tuag yno./ A hon o gyssegrwyd a gwaed.
Description: AM in an elaborate script. J.S.W carved in lozenge shape into the top of the flatslab. The flatslab is decorated to resemble the top of the coofin with the edges decorated with stylised leaves.
This grave was photographed as part of a Graveyard Survey carried out with the help of volunteers in 2013.
