Grave in memory of Thomas Blackwall in area A at St John's church, Ysbyty Cynfyn (A57). See plan for area A for the grave's location in the graveyard.
Inscription A57: ER/ COFFADWRIAETH/ AM/ THOMAS BLACKWALL/ Ysbytty Cynfyn./ yr hwn a fu farw/ Awst y 4ydd 1872,/ YN 67 MLWYDD OED./ Coffadwriaeth y cyfiawn sydd/ fednigedig ... DIAR.X.7./ Mae'n distaw hunaw fan hon ...r astud,/ Oedd ddirwestwr cysso...;/ Um mwynaidd llariaidd a llon,/ Digroester a da gristion.
Description: Er in an elaborate script. Coffadwriaeth in an elaborate font. There are flowers and leaf motifs carved in the top corners. The flatslab has T.B. In a carved lozenge. The flatslab is shaped like a coffin with a leaf decoration around the edge of it.
This grave was photographed as part of a Graveyard Survey carried out with the help of volunteers in 2013.
