Description

Grave in memory of Jane Daniel in area A at St John's church, Ysbyty Cynfyn (A103). See plan for area A for the grave's location in the graveyard.

Inscription A103: ER/ SERCHUS COF AM/ JANE/ ANWYL BRIOD/ EBENEZER DANIEL/ PARKGWYN PONTERWYD/ FU FARW AWST 16 - 1899/ YN 69 MLWYDD OED/ "Ystyria di'r hwn wyt yn darllen,/ Uwch ben fy medd i hyn o'sgrifen,/ Y daw angau archyll beiddgar,/ Agwys i'th gyrchu dilhau i'r carchar,/ Dewis gyrfaill; tra'r wyt yna,/ Bery'n fyddlon iti yma".

Description: Some railings surround this grave and number A104. The bible is carved into the top of the stone and the Er is within an elaborate carved oval with lines radiating either side.

This grave was photographed as part of a Graveyard Survey carried out with the help of volunteers in 2013.
