Description
Grave in memory of Ebenezer Daniel in area A at St John's church, Ysbyty Cynfyn (A104). See plan for area A for the grave's location in the graveyard.
Inscription A104: ER/ SERCHUS COF AM/ EBENEZER DANIEL/ PARKGWYN PONTERWYD/ FU FARW IONAWR 27 - 1893/ YN 68 MLWYDD OED./ Angel yr ARGLWYDD a/ gastella o amgylch y rhai/ a'i hofnant ef.
Description: The y on the penultimate line was first mistakenly carved as an a. Some railings surround this grave and number A103. The bible is carved into the top of the stone and the Er is within an elaborate carved oval with lines radiating either side.
This grave was photographed as part of a Graveyard Survey carried out with the help of volunteers in 2013.
