Description
Grave in memory of Anne Evans in area B at St John's church, Ysbyty Cynfyn (B30). See plan for area B for the grave's location in the graveyard.
Inscription B30: ER SERCHUS GOFFA/ AM/ ANNE EVANS/ PRIOD JOHN EVANS/ BLAENMERYN,/ YR HON A FU FARW/AWST Y 3YDD 1883,/ YN 63 MLWYDD/ OED./ Cofiwch diwygiwch eich agwedd -/ bob oedran/ sy'n edrych fy anedd:/ Arafwch mae'r daith ryfedd./ Symud o'r bywyd i'r bedd.
Description: Monument made up of headstone, foot stone and slab joining the two. Initials AE in diamond in the centre of the slab.
Carving of weeping willow and bible at the top. Also Er Serchus goffa in elaborate script.
This grave was photographed as part of a Graveyard Survey carried out with the help of volunteers in 2013.
