Description
Ffotograffydd/Photographer: John Dillwyn Llewelyn (1810-1882)
Nodyn/Note: Showing St Catherine’s Island. A similar image was shown in Paris in 1855 under the title ‘Clouds over St Catherine’s Island, Tenby’, this print is taken from an alternative negative without the clouds.
Dyddiad/Date: Probably taken in 1854 as the Paris images were referred to in a letter from Philip Delamotte in November 1854.
Cyfrwng/Medium: Print taken from a collodion negative.
