1942 National Milk Testing and Advisory Scheme. 'The aim of this scheme is to improve the keeping quality of milk and it also provides, as I mentioned in a recent debate in your Lordships' House, for bacteriological tests of the milk and the utensils with which that milk comes in contact'.
