Description

Poetry sent home during WW1 from France by Dan Jones, brother of James and John, to his parents in Cynghordy. James and John were both killed in Mametz Wood. It is not thought that Dan composed these poems, but more likely was sharing popular soldiers doggeral with his parents. There is also a note made on the back of the poems by one of Dan's parents (Daniel and Mary).
