Description

Ingredients

three pounds blackcurrants
three pints cold water
six pounds sugar


Method

Pour the water over the fruit, bring to the boil and simmer for fifteen minutes.
Add the sugar, and boil for a further ten minutes.
Add the sugar, and boil for a further ten minutes.
Leave to cool and pour into warm pots.
Cover the jam immediately.
