Ingredients
one slice of wholewheat bread per person
milk
sugar or salt
Method
Break the bread into small pieces and put in a large saucepan.
Cover with milk and bring to the boil.
Serve in bowls and add sugar or salt, to taste.

Break the bread into individual bowls and cover with boiling milk.
Add sugar or salt, to taste.
A dish commonly served for breakfast or afternoon tea.
