Description

Ingredients



  • half a pint cold milk

  • pepper and salt

  • one tablespoonful plain flour (or cornflour)

  • one tablespoonful finely chopped parsley


Method



  • Blend the flour with a little of the milk.

  • Heat the remainder of the milk in a saucepan and pour the flour mixture into it.

  • Stir continuously with a wooden spoon and bring it to the boil.

  • Add the parsley, season with pepper and salt and boil for a further two minutes.


Serve with hot salmon or sewin.
