A personal letter with no address, with a typed print stating 'an old wish and a true wish a very merry Christmas and a happy new year from Lord and Lady Davies' followed by a handwritten note saying 'with fond love'. Davis Davies was a Welsh Liberal politician and public benefactor. He was particularly interested in the League of Nations and the eradication of tuberculosis in Wales
