Description

This is an electric warning bell / gong that was originally fitted to the front bumper of a Glamorgan Constabulary Wolseley 6/80 patrol car.

Winkworth bells were manufactured between 1930 and 1960 and fitted as a warning to many British police / fire brigade / ambulance vehicles.
