A medal in my collection.

Police Long Service & Good Conduct medal.

Awarded to Police Constable 263 Brinley Riddick who served in the Glamorgan and South Wales Constabularies. His last known station was in the 'F' Division, at Ystrad Mynach

Instituted in 1951, it was awarded for 22 years full time police service. In 2010, the length of service to receive the award was reduced from 22 years to 20.
