Description

Here is an article summerising the wedding of Smaro Orfanidis, the daughter of Archimandrite Anastasios Orfanidis, and Gregory Stoicos (he later changed his surname, misspelled during the (emigration, to the correct Staikopoulos) in Cardiff in July 19, 1929.

Smaro lived from 1911 to 2007 and Gregory from 1901 to 1991.

Sent to Fr Eleutherios, from St Nicholas’ Greek Orthodox Church, Cardiff, by the grandsonof the featured couple.
