Description

A compilation of interviews conducted with volunteers and camp organisers in Cardiff during the 1960s and 1970s at youth work camps in Splott, Butetown, and Grangetown.

The organisation and volunteer coordination for these work camps marks the beginning of VCS Cymru and these interviews are a unique look into the volunteers' perspectives of that time.

Some of the information found in these interviews were deemed private or had poor audio quality and therefore we have created a compilation of some of the more interesting parts for you to listen to.
