Description

Llys Rhosyr was discovered in Cae Llys in Newborough, Anglesey. After completing his examination of the site, archaeologist Neil Johnstone noticed that ‘Llys’ was common in Welsh place names. He researched every example. By comparing place names with topographical and archaeological research, he discovered every Royal Llys in Gwynedd. Lost for centuries, the clue was in the name!
