an ancestor was born nr here in the 1700s and I was looking to get some idea of location.

Blackpool mill can be reached by turning off the A40 at Canaston Bridge, onto A4075, signposted 'Oakwood Leisure Park, Blackpool Mill is signposted to the right, just after the bridge.

This was used as one of the locations in the film "Hedd Wyn". All the battle scenes were filmed in Pembrokeshire; Pilken Ridge was recreated on the old Templeton airfield.
