Description

Letter written to Thomas Benbow Phillips by Christopher James of James & Co of Rio Grande do Sul, dated 8 February 1868.

Christopher James reported that he was going to Pelotas that afternoon en route to the Serras. He enclosed two petitions which he advised Thomas Benbow Phillips to fill and keep with him. He also wanted to know the day on which Winifred was born. He said he would stop at Cordeiro's because he had business with him, and he would give Thomas Benbow Phillips a call should time allow.
