Description

Letter written to Thomas Benbow Phillips at Pelotas from Christopher James at Rio Grande do Sul, dated 20 August 1867.

Christopher James stated that he had received his correspondence of the 12 August and was very glad to hear that Thomas Benbow Phillips's mother's health had improved after her stay at Rio Grande. He sent his kind regards to her, as well as those of his wife.
