Description

This handwritten extract is taken from the minutes of the South Wales Branch of the Women's International Leagues for Peace and Freedom, dated 13 June 1999. It clearly states the numbered topics discussed in the meeting. The 3rd topic of the meeting discussed the Arms Trade and the activities of the Cardiff branch against HMG secretive arms sales. Cardiff activities included leafletting, speaking in church, and Trade Union groups.

The extract is taken from the Minutes book, handwritten, covering meetings held by the South Wales Branch of the Women's International Leagues for Peace and Freedom. The branch was based in Newport, however, some of their meetings were arranged in Cardiff as was in this case.
