Description
Mary was brought up on the Leechpool Welsh Land Settlement before moving, with the family, to Caldicot. After attending Larkfield Grammer School, Mary went to college to study Librarianship before joining the Monmouthshire Library Service where she became the Librarian for Caldicot. Later in Life, Mary married Joe Rooney, the Methodist Minister for Caldicot.
