Transcription: C: In the collection we have a silver spray can... W: Yes, yes I remember that well. We have scented sprays of course now, but it's the same principle. It cleans the air we breathe in. This cloistered air is shut in, and you would feel better and certainly smell better with this scented aroma around you. And when the place was busy and full up, when it used to get smelly; warm bodies clammed together, especially when it had been raining and we had all got wet. The men would walk down the isles between the seats and bump over their heads at people but the scent gradually permeated the whole of the cinema and it smelt nice once again; when you went in you were struck by the aroma.
