Raglan Cider Mill proprietor and cider and perry maker Sally Perks gives us her thoughts on what makes Welsh cider taste the way it does. Includes why Raglan Cider Mill cider tastes the way it does.

Sally Perks is the proprietor of Raglan Cider Mill with her husband James Perks. Raglan Cider Mill was founded in 2006 and produces real cider & perry. Sally Perks is the Chair of The Welsh Perry & Cider Society. Raglan Cider Mill is the site of the first ever Museum Orchard of Welsh cider apple and perry pear varieties in Wales. Raglan Cider Mill is located at Ty Newydd Farm in the village of Llanarth near Raglan in Monmouthshire, NP15 2LU.

This digital story was created for ‘The Heritage of Orchards and Cider Making in Wales’, a two year HLF funded project in partnership with The George Ewart Evans Centre For Storytelling at The University of South Wales and The Welsh Cider and Perry Society.
