Description

Humphrey Jones writes to his parents on 16 November 1855 from London. He thanks them for their letter. He had read in the paper that there had been great floods in the Llangollen area. It also rained very heavily in London. The winter weather is setting in, but Humphrey does not have any chilblains on his hands yet. He has taken alternative medicine to cure himself of his bile and hopes that he will be feeling better.
