Description

The poet Rowland Williams or Hwfa Môn (1823-1905) was born in Trefdraeth, Anglesey, but was brought up in Rhostrehwfa. He served as a Congregational minister in north Wales and London before returning to Anglesey in 1881. He is best known for his role as Archdruid of the National Eisteddfod, a position which he held from 1895 to 1905.
