Capt Owen Parry

Husband of Jane Parry Egremont Liverpool.
Born Maestyngelaist Criccieth. S.S.SHIMOSA owned by La Plata SS. Co. Ltd. (J. Barnett & Co.), Liverpool, was a British steamer of 4.221 tons. On July 31st, 1917, Shimosa, on a voyage from Havre to Canada in ballast, was sunk by the German submarine U-46 (Leo Hillebrand), 220 miles NW/W of Eagle Island. 17 persons were lost.
