Description

The antiquarian Henry Rowlands (1655-1723) was born in Llanidan, Anglesey. He spent his life on the island as an Anglican priest. His most famous work, 'Mona Antiqua Restaurata' (1723) provides a detailed survey of the antiquities of Anglesey and attempts to prove that the Druids originated there.
