Description

The APR (Air Raid Precautions) oversaw the Blackouts and inspected bomb damage during WWII. They were organised by the government four years before the war began in 1935. They would give out warnings for gas attacks via a rattle and would sound the all clear using the bell. This bell was given to an ARP warden in Bridgend.
