Julie (nee Thomas, locally of Thomas Twins Fame!) lived at Cawnpore Street with sister Judith. They attended this Cogan Junior and Infants School from 1950 onwards and recalls Alan Parry. Mother Gwen Thomas was a cook at the school.

Julie also recalls that Alan Parry was a lovely lad but somewhat shy ; and that his father was the local postman.
