"Dynevor Castle,
22 January, 1844.

My dear Sir,

I have received your letter containing the sum of £5, which I will keep and when I receive the £20 from Government I will pay the whole to Messrs Morris as your subscription for the erection of the Barracks at Carmarthen.

I am sorry I have not been able sooner to reply to your letter, but I have been moving about.

I am, my dear sir,
Yours very truly,
Geo. Rice Trevor."
