Pontardawe Tinplate Works site

Contributed by Roy Davies and photographed by him January 2004 (and March 2011).

Shows reclamation work going on at the last remaining old industrial site building in Pontardawe.
Formerly the Pontardawe Tinplate works - owned in turn by William Parsons, the Gilbertsons, and Richard Thomas and Baldwin.
The buildings were last used by Economic Drums.

3.The only surviving remnant of that era. The offices of RTB which are now converted into flats and run by a housing association.
